Born in India and brought up in England and Germany, Sameera's musical background is culturally diverse: in early childhood she was taught in the classical KHEYAL Style of North India by her Mother, Satinder Chawla, a renowned vocalist and sitar player from the Punjab. She went on to become U.K.'s BEST ASIAN FEMALE SINGER. Her releases include the album JHANJER with Indias top playback singer, Asha Bhonsle. Sameera is also featured on Apache Indian's album "REAL PEOPLE," where she has combined her Eastern Vocals with Apache's rap tunes in "Lovin." She has many other albums to her credit, such as: Gemini (Kanak di Rakhi)- - Distant Voices-(Dum Maro Dum), Bollywood Sensation 2 (Ehesaan Tera), Bangin (Teria Mohabataan), Settin the Standard (Bindiya Chamkeygi). Sameera tours many countries, bringing pleasure to the ears of her vast audiences with her melodious and versatile voice.
